Rare lettre de Bathus qui s’excuse d’avoir tardivement donné de ses nouvelles dû à un sérieux accident qui l’a laissé pour mort pendant plusieurs semaines, heureusement il est maintenant tiré d’affaire et peut reprendre progressivement son travail : « When your request arrived last December I just happened to have a serious accident had to undergo an operation – and nearly died. For several months i was cut from the world – without any means of communications with the outside. A strange and rather painful experience.
